Geoff E. Tanner has been President and Chief Executive Officer since July 2023. Mr. Tanner joined Simply Good Foods as President, Chief Operating Officer and CEO-elect as well as a member of the Board of Simply Good Foods on April 3, 2023. Mr. Tanner has more than 20 years of experience driving financial and marketplace results for leading food companies. From October 2019 through February 2023, Mr. Tanner served as Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer of The J.M. Smucker Company (“Smucker”). In this position, Mr. Tanner oversaw the more than $8 billion JMS Commercial organization, leading a successful transformation of the company’s marketing and sales organizations, helping Smucker deliver successive years of growth in organic sales, profits and market share. Prior to that, at Smucker Mr. Tanner was Senior Vice President, Growth and Innovation from 2016 to 2019 and General Manager, Pet Snacks Business Unit and Vice President, Marketing from 2015 to 2016. Mr. Tanner brings significant expertise in strategy and business development, operations, brand building, innovation, omnichannel strategy and revenue management to his role at Simply Good Foods. From 2013 to 2016, Mr. Tanner had executive roles at Big Heart Pet Brands and Del Monte Foods (the predecessor of Big Heart Pet Brands). Earlier in his career, Mr. Tanner was a senior strategy consultant at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young.

Shaun Mara has served as Chief Financial Officer since October 27, 2022. Mara was previously CFO of Atkins Nutritionals, Inc. and Simply Good Foods from 2014 to August 2017. After the successful merger combination between Conyers Park Acquisition Corp. and Atkins Nutritionals, Inc., which created The Simply Good Foods Company in July 2017, Mara pursued other opportunities before returning to Simply Good Foods in June 2019, as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development. In this role, Mara has led the Company’s strategic planning initiatives and the integration team for the Quest acquisition. Prior to Atkins Nutritionals, Inc., Mara was Chief Financial Officer at Dean Foods and Roofing Supply Company after spending more than 20 years working in senior financial positions at the William Wrigley Jr. Company, the Gillette Company and Staples, Inc.  Mara started his career earning a CPA while working at KPMG Peat Marwick and received his undergraduate degree from Bentley University.  

Timothy Kraft joined The Simply Good Foods Company as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in June of 2018.  Prior to joining the Company, Tim served as General Counsel of the Green Chef Corporation, a high-growth, USDA-certified organic meal kit company offering premium dinners tailored for those following specialized diets including vegan, gluten-free and paleo.  Prior to Green Chef, Tim served as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for Boulder Brands, Inc., a publicly-traded company with a portfolio of health-focused food brands. Boulder Brands was acquired by Pinnacle Foods in January of 2016 and Tim remained with the company to lead the integration through the end of 2016.  Prior to joining Boulder Brands in 2009, Tim was in private practice focusing on general corporate law and mergers and acquisitions in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Tim received a Juris Doctor degree from Marquette University Law School and a B.A. degree from Truman State University.

Susan Hunsberger has served as our Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer since July 2020. Prior to joining Simply Good Foods, Ms. Hunsberger was a consultant with FCM, LLC, a private equity focused consulting firm, from February 2020 until July 2020. From November 2018 to January 2020, Ms. Hunsberger took a sabbatical to volunteer with Feeding America and the Mid-South Food Bank. Prior to that, from January 2014 to October 2018, Ms. Hunsberger was the Chief Human Resources Officer at The ServiceMaster Company, LLC. Ms. Hunsberger’s prior experience includes Human Resources roles with The Nielsen Corporation and GE Aviation.  Ms. Hunsberger received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Personnel Management from Miami University and a Master’s Degree in Organization Development from Bowling Green State University.
Ryan Thomas joined Simply Good Foods as Senior Vice President, Atkins Marketing, in October 2023. Previously, Mr. Thomas was Chief Commercial Officer for the Pet Portfolio at Post Holdings, acquired from J.M. Smucker in April 2023. At Smucker’s, Mr. Thomas was Vice President of Marketing for their extensive Pet Portfolio and prior to that, led Innovation in Coffee, Spreads, Uncrustables, and Pet. He held various brand management and innovation roles at Big Heart Pet Brands, The Campbell Soup Company, and H.J. Heinz, working on such brands as Milk-Bone, Meow Mix, Natural Balance, Campbells and V8. Mr. Thomas holds a BS in Business Administration and an MBA, both from the University of Pittsburgh.
Stuart Heflin has served as Senior Vice President and General Manager Quest marketing since October 2023. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Quest Brand Marketing from April 2022. He joined Quest Nutrition in April 2018, leading the brand marketing and innovation pipeline before the acquisition by Simply Good Foods in April 2019. Previously, Stuart was the Brand Director at Glanbia, leading all marketing for Optimum Nutrition North America. He held various brand management roles at Procter & Gamble working on such brands as Metamucil, Align, New Chapter, Iams among others, and served on the P&G Walmart Global Customer Service Team. Stuart holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from The Ohio State University.
Linda Zink has served as Chief Growth Officer since October 2023. Prior to that, she was the Chief Marketing Officer for Simply Good Foods from May 2022, and Chief Marketing Officer for Quest from August 2020. A seasoned marketing executive, Linda began her career with Atkins Nutritionals, Inc. in 2013 and has been instrumental in developing new products and bringing them to market. Previously, Linda was at the WhiteWave Foods Company where she was responsible for developing and commercializing incremental and margin accretive platforms for both the existing Horizon Organic brand and other dairy based products, among other roles. Prior to WhiteWave, Ms. Zink held various positions at The Clorox Company, Bath & Body Works, The Kellogg Company, and more. Ms. Zink holds a BBA in Marketing and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Jill Short was promoted to Chief Customer Officer in August 2017. Previously, Ms. Short served as Senior Vice President of Sales. Ms. Short joined Atkins Nutritionals, Inc. in January 2008, and was part of the sales team that contributed to the turnaround and success of the Atkins® brand. Prior to joining Atkins, Ms. Short served in key sales leadership roles for more than 20 years with increasing responsibility at Muscle Milk, Abbott Nutrition including the EAS brand, and Kraft Foods.

Stamati Arakas has served as Senior Vice President, eCommerce since February 2021. A seasoned sales & marketing executive, Stamati has built and led multiple digital & omnichannel teams across various companies and verticals.  Previously, Stamati was at PepsiCo for six years where he held multiple eCommerce sales & general management roles across the PepsiCo portfolio.  Prior to PepsiCo, Stamati spent nearly 15 years at Stanley Black & Decker in roles with increasing responsibility across Brand Marketing, Product Development, Channel Marketing and eCommerce Sales.  He holds a BA in Communication Studies from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  
Jeremy has over 27 years of experience in R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, and Innovation. His expertise and experience in formulation has spanned in different spaces including contract manufacturing and branded companies in the areas of nutrition, dietary supplements, functional foods, home care, and pharmaceutical products. Jeremy has had many successes in companies such as Atkins, Melaleuca, Nellson Nutraceutical and Quest Nutrition. In addition to his formulation experience and expertise in nutrition products, Jeremy has BS, MS degrees in Nutritional Sciences, as well as a broad knowledge of co-manufacturers, regulatory, and quality systems. Jeremy currently resides in Southern California with his wife and 3 sons. 
Jason Bendure has served as Senior Vice President, Operations, for Simply Good Foods since September 2023. With over 20 years of experience in operations for food and beverage companies, Mr. Bendure has been responsible for operations – including internal and external operations, quality, procurement, engineering, environmental, health and safety and project management offices – on a global basis. Previously, he spent six years at KIND where he led operations for KIND’s Health and Wellness platform, a division of Mars, which is a portfolio of Brands including KIND Snacks, Nature’s Bakery, TruFru & Creative Snacks. Prior to that, Jason served 18 years in PepsiCo, operating across Quaker Foods, Frito-Lay, Tropicana, Naked Juice, Gatorade and Pepsi, in operations, supply chain and manufacturing roles with increasing responsibility. Jason has a BS in Milling Science from Kansas State University and an MBA from the University of Iowa.
